29-jan-2008 - A small delegation of Te Arawa CNI Whanau have been requested by the Crown Facilitator to attend the CNI Collective Hui in Taupo on Thursday 31 Jan 2008 from 2pm - 3pm, venue to be confirmed. This hui was cancelled.
The Te Arawa CNI Working Party would like to hui prior to attending the hui in Taupo. The Te Arawa CNI Working Party are currently preparing to meet Thurs 10am - 12 noon at Sunset Junior High.

When: Wednesday 23rd January 2008, start @ 9.30am, meeting 10.30am-12.30pm
This meeting will provide an update and an opportunity for CNI claimants to speak with Crown Facilitator, Wira Gardiner. Could whanau all attend early so that we may discuss issues to present before Mr Gardiner arrives.

These is a regular scheduled meeting.
14-jan-2008 The Te Arawa CNI Working Party and Secretariat will be meeting at 1.00 pm at the offices of Rangitauira & Co. The purpose of this meeting is to consolidate all previous documentation to date (as at 31 December 2007) and to prepare an Agenda and discussion in anticipation of a Te Arawa Iwi CNI hui later in this week.
15-jan-2008 The Secretariat will meet at 1.00 pm, at an office based at Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Hurunga Te Rangi (ex the old Sunset Junior High on Sunset Rd). The purpose of this meeting is to continue document consolidation and info prep for the Te Arawa Iwi CNI hui later in the week, plus to continue with general administration work if required and appropriate. PLEASE NOTE: The Working Party/Secretariat will meet every Tuesday 1pm at the Kura office from 15th Jan – you are all most welcome to attend these meetings.

8-dec-2007 CNI Forests Iwi Collective announce urgent hui on 10 December 2007. CNI Forests Iwi Collective have asked iwi representatives of Ngai Tuhoe, Ngati Whare, Ngati Whakaue, Ngati Manawa, Ngati Makino and Ngati Tuwharetoa due to Ngati Tuhoe and Ngati Tuwharetoa being unavailable for the scheduled meeting. The purpose of the hui is to transact business on the agenda circulated at the meeting on 24th November 2007.
